باختصار
- يعمل سير دون حساب. موقعك يُستعمل على هاتفك لإرشادك.
- ما يرسله التطبيق من قيادتك مجهول الهوية: سرعات على مقاطع الطرق والمنعطفات المأخوذة، بلا معرّف للجهاز. تُقطع بداية الرحلة ونهايتها على الهاتف، أو تُقرَّب إلى منطقة بعرض نحو ٥٠٠ متر.
- الحساب اختياري: بريد لرموز الدخول، واسم وشكل تختارهما.
- تعرض Google AdMob الإعلانات، ولا يظهر أيّ إعلان أثناء القيادة.
- تستطيع حذف حسابك متى شئت، من التطبيق أو من tryseer.app/delete-account.
- لا نبيع بياناتك.
ما يستعمله التطبيق، ولماذا
موقعك
يستعمل سير موقعك الدقيق ليُريك أين أنت، ويخطّط الطريق ويرشدك فيه. يجري ذلك على هاتفك. أثناء الملاحة يبقى الموقع مستعملًا حين تنتقل إلى تطبيق آخر، مع إشعار ظاهر طوال الرحلة، ويتوقف بانتهائها. لا يجمع التطبيق موقعك في الخلفية حين لا تكون في رحلة.
بيانات الطرق المجهولة
بعد كل رحلة يرسل التطبيق ما يساعد على تحسين الخريطة وأوقات الوصول للجميع:
- متوسط السرعة على كل مقطع طريق، مع ساعة اليوم وهل كان اليوم عطلة.
- المنعطفات التي أُخذت عند التقاطعات.
- هل خالفت الطريقَ المقترح، مع منطقتي البداية والنهاية مقرّبتين إلى خلايا بعرض نحو ٥٠٠ متر، لا عناوين.
- حين تقود في طريق لا تعرفه الخريطة: شكل ذلك المقطع، لتُضاف الطرق الناقصة.
- حين لا يجد البحث شيئًا: نص البحث ومنطقته التقريبية (خلية بنحو ٥٠٠ متر)، لنعرف ما ينقص الخريطة.
- بلاغات الطريق التي ترسلها (إغلاق، حاجز، أشغال…) وتأكيدك لبلاغات غيرك.
لا يحمل شيء من ذلك حسابك ولا اسمك ولا بريدك ولا معرّفًا للجهاز، ولا وقتًا أدقّ من الساعة، ولا ما يربط مساهمتين برحلة واحدة. قبل الإرسال يقطع الهاتف بداية الرحلة ونهايتها، وحيث تلزم البداية أو النهاية (مخالفة الطريق المقترح) تُقرَّب إلى منطقة بعرض نحو ٥٠٠ متر.
حسابك (اختياري)
- البريد الإلكتروني: لإرسال رموز الدخول، ولإخبارك بما حدث لمساهماتك.
- الاسم والشكل: لملفّك فقط، ولا يظهران على الخريطة.
- المساهمات: الأماكن التي تضيفها (الاسم والنوع والموقع وصورة اختيارية)، والتصحيحات، وطلبات ملكية الأماكن مع ما ترفقه بها. يراها المشرفون ليراجعوها.
- صور الإثبات: نقرأ منها وقت التقاطها ومكانه ونوع الكاميرا لمساعدة المشرفين، ثم نحذف هذه البيانات من الصورة.
- درجة الثقة: تُحسب من عدد مساهماتك التي اعتُمدت.
على هاتفك فقط
المنزل والعمل والأماكن المفضّلة والوجهات الأخيرة والإعدادات تُحفظ على هاتفك ولا تُرسل إلى أي خادم.
OpenStreetMap (باختيارك)
إن وافقت، قد تُرسل تصحيحاتك إلى OpenStreetMap، الخريطة المفتوحة التي بُني عليها سير، فتصبح بيانات عامة. تستطيع إيقاف ذلك من الإعدادات.
الإعلانات
يعرض سير إعلانات من Google AdMob في ثلاثة أماكن: تحت نتائج البحث، وفي بطاقة الوجهة قبل الانطلاق، وفي بطاقة الوصول. لا يظهر أيّ إعلان أثناء القيادة، والإعلانات مقيّدة بما يناسب جميع الأعمار. قد تجمع Google معرّف الإعلانات في هاتفك وعنوان IP (الذي يدلّ على موقع تقريبي) ومعلومات عن الجهاز والتفاعل مع الإعلانات، لعرض الإعلانات وقياسها ومنع الاحتيال. في المنطقة الاقتصادية الأوروبية والمملكة المتحدة وسويسرا تُسأل عن موافقتك أولًا، وتستطيع تغيير اختيارك من الإعدادات. يمكنك حذف معرّف الإعلانات من إعدادات أندرويد. اقرأ كيف تستخدم Google البيانات.
من يعالج البيانات لأجلنا
- Supabase: قاعدة البيانات وتسجيل الدخول وتخزين الصور.
- Cloudflare: تنزيل الخرائط.
- مزوّد البريد الذي يرسل رموز الدخول.
- Vercel: هذا الموقع وأداة المشرفين.
- Google AdMob: الإعلانات.
كم نحتفظ بها
- بيانات الحساب: حتى تحذف حسابك.
- الأماكن المعتمدة: تبقى جزءًا من الخريطة، وتُفصل عنك حين تحذف حسابك. ما لم يُعتمد يُحذف مع الحساب.
- بيانات الطرق المجهولة: نحتفظ بها ما دامت تفيد الخريطة، ولا يمكن ربطها بك.
اختياراتك
- احذف حسابك وكل ما ارتبط به من التطبيق (الإعدادات ← حذف الحساب) أو من هذه الصفحة.
- سجّل الخروج، أو امسح الوجهات الأخيرة، أو أوقف المشاركة مع OpenStreetMap من الإعدادات.
- اسحب إذن الموقع من إعدادات أندرويد متى شئت.

الأطفال
سير غير موجّه إلى الأطفال دون ١٣ عامًا، ولا نجمع بياناتهم عن قصد.
الأمان
كل اتصال بخوادمنا مشفّر، ولا يصل إلى البيانات إلا من يحتاج إليها لتشغيل الخدمة.

إن غيّرنا هذه السياسة نحدّثها هنا ونغيّر تاريخها في أعلى الصفحة.

In short
- Seer works without an account. Your location is used on your phone to guide you.
- What the app sends about your drives is anonymous: speeds on road segments and the turns taken, with no device ID. The start and end of each trip are cut off on the phone, or rounded to an area about 500 metres wide.
- An account is optional: an email for sign-in codes, and a name and look you choose.
- Ads are shown by Google AdMob, and never while you drive.
- You can delete your account at any time, in the app or at tryseer.app/delete-account.
- We do not sell your data.
What the app uses, and why
Your location
Seer uses your precise location to show where you are, plan routes and guide you along them. That happens on your phone. During navigation the app keeps using your location when you switch to another app, with a notification on screen for the whole trip, and stops when the trip ends. It does not collect your location in the background when you are not on a trip.
Anonymous road data
After each trip the app sends what helps make the map and travel times better for everyone:
- The average speed on each road segment, with the hour of day and whether it was a weekend.
- The turns taken at junctions.
- Whether you left the suggested route, with the start and end areas rounded to cells about 500 metres wide, not addresses.
- When you drive on a road the map does not have: the shape of that stretch, so missing roads can be added.
- When a search finds nothing: the search text and its rough area (a cell about 500 metres wide), so we know what the map is missing.
- Road reports you send (closed, checkpoint, roadworks…) and your confirmations of other people's reports.
None of this carries your account, name, email or a device identifier, any time more precise than the hour, or anything that ties two contributions to one trip. Before sending, the phone cuts off the start and end of each trip; where a start or end is needed (leaving the suggested route), it is rounded to an area about 500 metres wide.
Your account (optional)
- Email: to send sign-in codes, and to tell you what happened to your contributions.
- Name and look: for your profile only. They are never shown on the map.
- Contributions: places you add (name, kind, location and an optional photo), corrections, and ownership claims with what you attach to them. Moderators see them in order to review them.
- Proof photos: we read when and where a photo was taken and the camera model to help moderators, then remove that data from the photo.
- Trust level: worked out from how many of your contributions were approved.
On your phone only
Home, work, favourite places, recent destinations and your settings are kept on your phone and never uploaded.
OpenStreetMap (your choice)
If you agree, your corrections may be shared with OpenStreetMap, the open map Seer is built on, where they become public data. You can turn this off in Settings.
Ads
Seer shows ads from Google AdMob in three places: under search results, on the destination card before you set off, and on the arrival card. No ad is shown while you drive, and ads are limited to content suitable for all ages. Google may collect your phone's advertising ID, your IP address (which gives an approximate location), device information and your interactions with ads, to show and measure ads and prevent fraud. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent first, and you can change your choice in Settings. You can delete your advertising ID in Android's settings. Who processes data for us
- Supabase: database, sign-in and photo storage.
- Cloudflare: map downloads.
- The email provider that sends sign-in codes.
- Vercel: this website and the moderators' tool.
- Google AdMob: ads.
How long we keep it
- Account data: until you delete your account.
- Approved places stay part of the map, and are unlinked from you when you delete your account. Anything not approved is deleted with the account.
- Anonymous road data: kept as long as it helps the map. It cannot be linked to you.
Your choices
- Delete your account and everything filed under it in the app (Settings → Delete account) or on this page.
- Sign out, clear recent destinations or turn off OpenStreetMap sharing in Settings.
- Withdraw the location permission in Android's settings at any time.
- To see or correct your data, write to hello@tryseer.app.
Children
Seer is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Security
Every connection to our servers is encrypted, and only those who need data to run the service can reach it.
Changes
If we change this policy we update it here and change the date at the top.
